In-School Drama Workshops

Dramatic Dreams works with schools to provide drama workshops for children, that are integrated into the national curriculum and school day.

Working closely with teachers, Dramatic Dreams will create an individual programme for each school that effectively meets the needs of both teachers and children.

Head teachers and year teachers have found that the workshops frequently increase reading skills and improve concentration in the classroom. Children with special needs often find that the workshops provide them with a new way to explore and express their imagination. Dyslexic children, for example, are able to enjoy and remember stories without struggling with the written page.

Additionally, by suggesting ideas and supporting teachers throughout the rehearsal period, Dramatic Dreams actors are happy to share the burden of end-of-term shows.
